Stud Ford & Will Coppage are a Southern blues-rock duo bringing a gritty, high-energy sound rooted in the Mississippi Delta and Hill Country Blues tradition. Think Black Keys meets R.L. Burnside with a shot of Gary Clark Jr.—this is the next evolution of Southern soul and blues.
Stud Ford, grandson of blues icon T-Model Ford, and Will Coppage, a rising force in Southern songwriting, fuse slide guitar, dirty riffs, and drum-driven rhythm into songs that cut deep and hit hard. Will Coppage, a U.S. Air Force veteran and accomplished writer, adds fire and finesse on guitar, vocals, and production. His signature tone and stage presence carry the spirit of the Delta forward while embracing the power of modern storytelling through music.
Together, they are Blues Legacy—not just a name, but a mission. With their debut EP Ain’t No Love and the nationwide Mississippi Shake Tour, the pair honor the past while creating something unmistakably their own. Beyond music, they are working to launch a nonprofit in the Mississippi Delta, dedicated to providing young people access to music, art, and entrepreneurial education.

Stud Ford and Will Coppage, a powerhouse duo who carry the rich legacy of Delta and Hill Country Blues into a fresh, electrifying sound, are currently touring on The Mississippi Shake Tour, promoting their release, “Ain’t No Love.” Stud Ford, grandson of the iconic T-Model Ford, was raised in Northern Mississippi’s Hill Country Blues tradition. Together, Ford (drums) and Coppage (guitar) blend deep grooves, blues heritage, and anthemic lyrics into a unique, crowd-moving experience. With raw sincerity and high-energy performances, their music connects with audiences on a powerful level. Ford’s veteran experience includes touring with North Mississippi Allstars and Lightnin’ Malcolm, while Coppage was named a pro songwriter at the 2024 Mississippi Songwriters Festival. From Greenville, MS— a city known for musical greatness— they bring both authenticity and bold innovation to every stage.
